Frequently Asked Questions

I had $2PAC, now I’ve got $TUPAC, what happened?2021-06-16T10:22:45+00:00

Firstly, thank you. If you had $2PAC that means you were one of the 15 first supporters. However after receiving legal counsel we have opted to relaunch the token with the symbol $TUPAC, and have airdropped you an equal value of $TUPAC.

Has liquidity been locked?2021-06-16T10:22:24+00:00
Yes, we have locked our initial 25% liquidity in UniCrypt.
Why manual burns?2021-06-16T10:22:05+00:00
We will be burning tokens at major milestones (major donations, 250k wallet holders, etc), to keep the supply and price stable, and to ensure that our philanthropic goals do not come at the cost of those who have invested in the coin and our mission.
Will you do an initial 50% token burn?2021-06-16T10:21:46+00:00
While we have set aside 50% for a potential burn, unless the community requests this, we do not plan to do it all in one go. Other coins do this for an instant x2 value boost, but this is an artificial doubling and a marketing trend with no real long term mathematics or goals behind it. We will not flood the market with these tokens, and thus the outcome is the same. We believe in strategic manual burns to coincide with charity donations to stabalize the supply and thus price.
How was the total supply of $TUPAC split?2021-06-16T10:21:25+00:00
25% of $TUPAC was added to the PancakeSwap Liquidity Pool on launch to ensure initial supply. 10% was sent to a dev wallet. The remaining amount is being held to fund marketing, purchase the Tupac catalog of music without impacting the price of the TupacCoin, for legal fees in the process of this purchase, and for manual burns – and as such the total will rapidly decrease over time, which in turn increases the ownership percentage of those who purchase and hold $TUPAC.
Why does my total amount keep changing?2021-06-16T10:20:49+00:00
Every TupacCoin transaction includes a 2% redistribution fee. This means that 2% of every transaction, purchase or sale, is split amongst all TupacCoin holders. The longer and the more TupacCoin you hold, the more you will receive!
What is slippage?2021-06-16T10:17:29+00:00
Sometimes because of high volume the price may change before you have a chance to complete the purchase, this is called “slippage,” and the purchase will fail. To combat this, set your slippage tolerance to 12%.
I get an error saying “the transaction cannot succeed due to error: cannot estimate the gas,” what does it mean?2021-06-16T10:17:06+00:00
You are either trying to purchase more than the 100,000,000,000 maximum, or you need to increase your PancakeSwap slippage. To fix this, click the settings button at the top right of the Exchange box and change your maximum slippage to 12%.
Once you purchase the unreleased vault of Tupac’s music, will you release original (OG) or remixed versions?2021-06-16T10:16:07+00:00
It is our intention to release the OGs as they are, for free.

Many previous post-humerous Tupac releases have had to be remixed because samples could not be cleared for commercial release.

By releasing the OGs for free we avoid the need for sample clearance and allow mainstream to listen to the music the way it was intended.

How will the ownership of Tupac’s estate be handled?2021-06-16T10:15:43+00:00
We will consult with legal counsel to set up a public Trust and board of directors to purchase and manage the Estate. We will invite selected people who were close to Tupac to sit on the board, and in the community spirit, TupacCoin holders will be provided a vote to elect the board of directors.

Similarly, we will allow TupacCoin holders to vote on important matters regarding the release of the music catalog.

How do you plan to purchase the estate?2021-06-16T10:14:35+00:00
We have set aside a wallet of $Tupac that we intend to trade for the Estate as its real world monetary value increases.
What’s next for HitEmUp.com?2021-06-16T10:14:11+00:00
The original HitEmUp.com site began as a webpage for offering an mIRC Tupac Script, and morphed into the largest Tupac community and #1 Tupac website. Similarly, TupacCoin is serving as the start of a new era for HitEmUp.com.

We will be releasing an official statement about what our plans for the website are in the near future.

What is HitEmUp.com all about?2021-06-16T10:13:43+00:00
HitEmUp.com was a fan driven website operating from 1995-2004, serving as the Official Unofficial Tupac site. It was by far the largest Tupac community — in-fact it was formerly the 6th largest message forum on the entire Internet. The sites mission statement has always been to “keep Tupac’s message and legacy alive in the realest way possible, while carrying on his message and drive for change.”
